LIFT
This group, which includes those of ages 50 – 65, meets monthly for spiritual, social and emotional care. Some of the events this group enjoys are putting on Blood Drives for people of all ages; social gatherings and enjoyable trips out of town. Check the Connect Booth at the west entrance or call the church office for a schedule of programs and meeting times.
Grandparents Praying Ministry
In today’s society grandparents often play a very unique role of providing care for their grandchildren, often to the point of raising them. This ministry encourages grandparents to come together to pray for their grandchildren to become effective, productive and strong Christian leaders. This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 9:00 am, in Room 102 at Legacy Church. Childcare will not be provided. Senior Bus Ministry
We want all of our seniors to enjoy our wonderful church services. Transportation is provided to our 10:30 am Sunday service for senior citizens who live in the surrounding area. Wheelchair transportation is included. Once a quarter, on the first Saturday, we have a special luncheon honoring all seniors. Call the church office for more information.
OASIS (Older Adults Still In Service)
The purpose of this ministry is to meet the social and spiritual needs of our special senior citizens 66 years and older. Many are actively involved in other ministries in the church. Our seniors dine out at a nice restaurant once a month, and twice a year, in the spring and fall, travel out of town (3-5 days) to exciting places. Call the church office for more information.
