Second Wind
This group, which includes those of ages 50 – 65, meets monthly for spiritual, social and emotional care. Some of the events this group enjoys are putting on an annual community health fair for people of all ages, dinners, dances, and taking enjoying trips to various states across the United States. OASIS (Older Adults Still In Service)
This ministry is designed to meet the social and spiritual needs of our special senior citizens 66 years and older. Our seniors dine out at a nice restaurant once a month, and twice a year we travel out of town (3-5 days) to exciting places. We also have three Bible studies in homes that provide great fellowship and growth in God’s Word. Call the church office for more information.
Senior Bus
We want all of our seniors to enjoy our wonderful church services. Transportation is provided to our 12:15pm Sunday service for senior citizens who live in the surrounding area. Wheelchair transportation is included. Once a month, following the 12:15pm service, we have a special luncheon honoring all seniors. Call the church office for more information.
Valet Parking
This ministry provides valet parking at the South entrance of the church for our Sunday morning services at 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:15pm and for our Wednesday evening service at 6:30pm. This service is for the handicapped, first time attendees and seniors 55 plus. Call the church office for more information.
Grandparents Praying Ministry
In today’s society grandparents often play a very unique role of providing care for their grandchildren, often to the point of raising them. This ministry encourages grandparents to come together to pray for their grandchildren to become effective, productive and strong Christian leaders. This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays’ of the month at 8:45am, in the Prayer Room, at Legacy Church. Call the church office for more information.
Parking Lot Transportation
We at Legacy Church want to help ensure that everyone who parks on our campus can have a comfortable ride to our front doors. We have two 14 passenger electric carts and several shuttle vans to provide transportation from the parking lot to the entrances of Legacy church. This service is provided for our Sunday morning services at 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:15am, and for our Wednesday evening service at 6:30pm. Call the church office for more information.
The Seniors Ministry provides for the spiritual, social, emotional and connection needs of our seniors. Seniors at Legacy Church are going strong and strive to make a difference with each other, the younger folks, and our community.
