    Our helps ministry is designed to do exactly what it says - help the members of our church.

Ushers
    Our ushers serve our church in many different ways.  Each section of the sanctuary has ushers assigned to it to assist the people in those areas.  They pass out envelopes, collect the offering, and help people find seats in the sanctuary.  One of the key responsibilities of an usher is to ensure that there are no distractions, so that everyone can focus on the service and receive from the Lord.  One of the great things about ushering is that it doesn't require much time outside of the typical service times. If you have a desire to serve others, we would love to have you join us!

Greeters
    Our greeters are the best around.  They are the frontline in welcoming people to Legacy Church.  One of the things we here constantly is that we are a very friendly church.  Our greeters are a big part of the reason that people feel so welcome here.  With doing 3 services at our main campus and multiple services at our multi-site locations, there are plenty of opportunities to serve.  If you love to smile and help people feel welcome, come be a part of what God is doing through the greeter ministry of Legacy Church!

Altar Deacons
    Our Altar deacons serve a vital role in our church.  When someone accepts the gift of salvation through an altar call, the altar deacons are there to assist them.  They take the new believer into our altar room to pray with them, encourage them, and show them in God's Word how they can continue to serve Him and walk with Him.  These wonderful servants have a great opportunity to make an impact on someone who has just made the greatest decision of their life!  If you like to encourage people to serve the Lord, come join our altar ministry today!

Hospitality Deacons
    Our Hospitality ministry is designed to assist the 1st time guests of our church. Our Church slogan is "something more”, and our hospitality ministry embodies that. We hand out gift bags to those who are attending for the 1st time, and at the end of the service, we invite them to our hospitality room.  In the hospitality room we serve our guests donuts, Cinnabon, Starbucks, and juice.  Our hospitality deacons are there to answer any questions someone might have about legacy church, and make them aware of some things that may be of interest to them.  If you have an outgoing, inviting personality - come join us in making people feel welcome at Legacy Church.

ibooth
    This ministry provides the “concierge” service to our church.  They are located in the round booth (I-booth) in the middle of our foyer.  The ibooth is designed to provide information about our church, give tours to our first time guests, and to assist people in finding which room or building they are looking for.  If you have a desire to make people feel welcome and help them with their needs, come join our guest services team!

Prayer Deacons
    Our prayer deacons do exactly what their title implies - pray for those who are in need.  At the conclusion of each service, they are located in front of the stage in our sanctuary to pray with people and believe God with them for whatever they may be going through.

Phone Deacons
    We have 2 different types of Phone Deacons. We have 1st time phone deacons and altar phone deacons. Our 1st time deacons call all of our first time attendees to invite them back again and see if they can provide them with any information about the church. We also have our altar phone deacons. These deacons call anyone who has answered the altar call to see if they can pray for or help with any needs and invite them to attend the Connect at Legacy Class. If you like being behind the scenes of ministry and can spare a few minutes in the evenings come and join our phone deacon ministry

Care Deacons
    The care deacons provide care for our 1st time attendees until they reach the hospitality room. They prepare the hospitality bags and set them out in aisles before services. They also hand the bags out during services and escort the 1st time attendees to the hospitality room at the conclusion of each service. In this ministry you will serve as a crucial part of the growth of Legacy Church. If we take care of those who come the 1st time, then they won’t mind coming back for a 2nd.

Parking Lot
    Our Parking lot ministry is very important because they are the first person people will see when they come to our church. They help direct people safely to a close available parking spot. Traffic between services can be quite difficult and the parking lot ministry works with the city to help keep a steady flow of traffic while keeping pedestrians safe.  If you would like to represent Legacy Church and be the first impression for all of our guests, come join us!

Connect @ Legacy Booth
    The connection center is the hub for recruitment and information for all of our volunteers here at Legacy Church. Whether a person wants to help as an Usher or be involved in a Legacy Group this is the place to go. We promote a different ministry each week by using props signage and outgoing people to attract attention.  This is a great place to get to know people and the beginning of discipleship in the church. We are told that only a small percentage of people stay in a church for more than just a couple of years if they are not plugged into a group. That number changes drastically to more than 80% if we can get someone involved in a Legacy Group. If you are outgoing and want to help fulfill the great commission by seeing others disciple, then this is the place for you.
