The Difference Between Setbacks and Comebacks

How do you deal with things in your life when they don't go according to plan? If you're like me, I've had many setbacks and many situations that haven't worked out like I thought they should or even planned for. What do we do? How do we deal with them and move on? The answer lies in how you view them. Do you see them as a permanent or temporary setback? Most of the things we deal with are temporary. We need to realize how deep pain can go and that the feeling of failure will go away at some point. Please know this: that it won't last forever and you can and will move beyond it and heal from whatever is hurting or discouraging you. It's the attitude in which you live your life that will make the difference. Is it the attitude that the "sky is always falling" or is it the attitude that "I know this thing is not good for me, but it will pass. I am strong and I will overcome!" Learn to develop the attitude of never quitting and never allowing a moment, occurrence, setback or disappointment to define you for very long. The Bible says "all things will work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose." We need to realize that we CAN and WILL overcome if we just keep moving forward and believing in God and His Word. Life may disappoint from time to time, but God will NEVER disappoint; He will never leave you, not ever.

Just a thought, God bless.
