Full-time Facilities Director, Clovis and Portales
General Duties
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Oversee facilities remodels and additions
- Implement best-practice processes to increase efficiency
- Check completed work by employees, contractors, and vendors
- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from Legacy Church staff
- Manage, develop, and train staff
- Return all phone calls, emails, and texts within 24 hours
- All staff is responsible to keep our property free of trash and weeds
- Follow the policies and procedures as defined in the Legacy Church Employee Handbook
Primary Duties
- Coordinate interoffice moves
- Obtain quotes from contractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facilities management needs are met
- Prepare and track facilities budget
- Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives
- Monitor energy efficiency and advise cost-reduction initiatives
- Ensure efficient utilization of facilities maintenance staff
- Develop and implement a facilities management program, including preventive maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior office work environment.
Education and Experience
- High-school diploma required; however, a college degree, trade school certificate, and/or contractor’s license is an added advantage
- Technological competency and efficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in construction, maintenance, and all facets of facilities operation
- Supervisory experience
