Full-time Facilities Director, Clovis and Portales

General Duties

  • Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
  • Oversee facilities remodels and additions
  • Implement best-practice processes to increase efficiency
  • Check completed work by employees, contractors, and vendors
  • Provide prompt response to requests and issues from Legacy Church staff
  • Manage, develop, and train staff
  • Return all phone calls, emails, and texts within 24 hours
  • All staff is responsible to keep our property free of trash and weeds
  • Follow the policies and procedures as defined in the Legacy Church Employee Handbook

Primary Duties

  • Coordinate interoffice moves
  • Obtain quotes from contractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
  • Manage and review service contracts to ensure facilities management needs are met
  • Prepare and track facilities budget
  • Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives
  • Monitor energy efficiency and advise cost-reduction initiatives
  • Ensure efficient utilization of facilities maintenance staff
  • Develop and implement a facilities management program, including preventive maintenance and life-cycle requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight        objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior office work environment.

 Education and Experience

  • High-school diploma required; however, a college degree, trade school certificate, and/or contractor’s license is an added advantage
  • Technological competency and efficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in construction, maintenance, and all facets of facilities operation
  • Supervisory experience
