The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a second encounter with God after salvation (Romans 10:9-10) whereby we receive the supernatural power from the Holy Spirit. Praying in the Holy Spirit, or speaking in tongues is the supernatural evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46, and 19:6). It is a supernatural language with which to pray to God out of your spirit and not your mind (1Corinthians 14:2 and 14:14). The Christian provides the vehicle (voice and vocal chords that make speech) and the Holy Spirit, supernaturally, provides the words. We have a class on this subject during the 12:15pm service on the third Sunday of the month.
