Just a Thought Sign-Up
What we think about is important towards our attitude, towards everything.
Guard what goes in:
If we allow ourselves to think negatively about someone or something, we will always see the bad. If we think on the positive only, we may lose perspective. What we put into our minds — what we watch, what we listen to, and then what we think about — will determine our thought life.
Control your thought life:
If we would change our thought process, it would change our lives. When we change our thought lives, we will change our belief systems. If we are always thinking, Things are too hard, so therefore, I can’t [do this or that], we never will. When we control our thought process, we will learn our success or failure begins and ends with what we believe. Change that, and we will change our outcome, our results.
Guard what comes out:
When a person thinks they are not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, athletic enough, they will settle for less. They will put up with things that are harmful to their life. They will begin to believe that everyone is against them, even God Himself. So, we must renew our thinking, and we can do this by doing what God’s word teaches us. Phil. 4:8 NLT: And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
So, think about it.
