Title: Women’s Program Director

Reports to:  Executive Director

Summary of Position:

The Program Director will be in charge of organizing, implementing, and maintaining the Women’s Program side of Steelbridge.


This includes, but is not limited to, the following:


Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct program applicant interviews

Oversee female house leaders

Build and maintain friendly and professional relationships with the residents and staff

Ensure residents are attending required class and activities

Procure and train residents, volunteers, and/or staff to teach or lead classes

Ensure the implementation of Steelbridge policy and procedures

Assist the Executive Director in overseeing the program side of the ministry; keep regular contact with ministry staff

Develop and recommend strategies for growth and program improvement

The Program Director must be able to provide strong management and leadership of the resident program

Manage the program and residents on a daily basis

Complete daily, monthly, annual reporting

Minimum Education, Experience and Additional Requirements

Alignment with Steelbridge’s Statement of Faith

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years ministry work or volunteering

Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire



Preferred Knowledge

Business letter writing and basic report-preparation techniques

Office procedures, methods and computer equipment

Principles and procedures of record keeping

English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation

Strong organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus exceptional interpersonal communication skills

Self-motivated and organized

Preferred Skills & Abilities

Work independently in the absence of supervision

Perform basic use of Office 365

Communicate clearly and concisely

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
